About Me
Peter Joseph Owens
I’m a digital marketing and sales graduate from the Institute of Art, Design + Technology (IADT), Dún Laoghaire, with a First Class Honours degree and a passion for creative storytelling through both art and technology. My work blends digital strategy with visual expression — connecting audiences to ideas through imagery, sound, and thoughtful online presence.
Over the past several years, I’ve built a multidisciplinary practice combining my background in digital marketing, music production, and visual art. I’m currently a self-employed artist based in Portlaoise, developing and exhibiting new works while expanding my online shop and creative outreach.
In 2022, I was one of 2,000 successful applicants to receive the Basic Income for the Arts award from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media — a recognition that has supported the growth of my studio practice.
